My Approach to Helping
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, stress, perfectionism, setting boundaries, and other various issues that life can throw at us. I also have experience working with couples who are struggling with communication issues. I am accepting new clients who would like to take control of their thoughts and emotions, improve their relationships, talk through problems and find solutions, and most importantly - gain inner peace.
My goal is to empower you to feel strong from the inside out. I pull from various theories and techniques; however, I tend to be solution focused with a compassionate approach. I also frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to provide practical tools and strategies for managing thoughts and emotions.
