What's My Approach to Therapy?
I’m an addiction and trauma specialist for adults, also treating anxiety and mood disorders. Care is somatic- and skills-based, LGBTQ+ affirming, and collaborative—delivered via telehealth across California and Nevada, with walk-and-talk sessions in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood.
If anxiety spikes out of nowhere, mood drops linger, or your body won’t settle, you deserve more than pep talks—you need calm you can feel and steps you can follow. We’ll set clear priorities, include mind–body cues, and translate goals into practical tools you can use between sessions. I offer transparent guidance, shared decision-making, and measurable next steps. When clinically helpful, I may use brief, boundaried self-disclosure to de-stigmatize—not to center me.
My Guiding Ethical Principles
Ethically, I am guided by respect, informed consent, safety, clear boundaries, confidentiality, cultural humility, LGBTQ+ affirmation, evidence-informed care, and collaboration that protects your autonomy and dignity. I practice within scope, work for fair access, and stay accountable through ongoing reflection and consultation.
Clinically, my approach is integrative and informed by the nervous system. Depending on your needs, we may combine somatic and mindfulness practices with acceptance- and behavior-based therapies, CBT and DBT-informed skills, trauma-informed and attachment-aware methods, relapse-prevention and habit-change strategies, and relational, experiential work that helps insights land in real life. The mix shifts with your goals and consent, so what we practice in session is usable in the moments that matter.
