My Approach to Helping
Challenging life experiences may lead us to disconnect from who we truly are and to forget how precious life is. My goal as a therapist is to help you reconnect with your true self and find peace and harmony in your life. I focus on your strengths and hopes while respecting you as a whole human being, no matter how you are now. I create a safe and non-judgmental space for you to share whatever you bring.
I have experience working with adults, the elderly, adolescents, children, couples, and families on a variety of anxiety, depression, trauma, mood swings, anger issues, self-harm, relationship problems, LGBTQ, grief, and life coaching. I provide individual, couple, and family therapy. My therapeutic modalities are customized to tune in to each person, based on person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused therapy, and somatic approaches, combined with mindfulness as my foundation. I also use narrative therapy, expressive art, and emotionally focused therapy, as well as emotional freedom techniques.
