My Approach to Helping

Dr. Ezeh is a licensed therapist with 19 years of experience. Dr. Ezeh has worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, substance use, adjustment difficulty, identity development, trauma, suicidal/self-harm behaviors, relationship issues, religious and spirituality-related issues, aging, chronic pain, grief and loss, and major life transitions. Dr. Ezeh has successfully worked with teens, adolescents, and adults and has enjoyed working with these populations, in different settings: home, shelter, detention, and in college. His counseling style is interactive and solution-focused. He believes the client has unique sets of life skills that can be tapped into in order to deal with each client’s current dissatisfaction. Dr. Ezeh enjoys working with clients in a respectful and compassionate manner while attending to their goals. Dr. Ezeh is an experienced telehealth and in-person provider.
Dr. Ezeh has a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy, a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, a Master’s degree in Education, a Master’s degree in English, and a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. In addition to state licensure, Dr. Ezeh is a National Board-Certified Counselor. He was a recipient of an academic excellence award in graduate school and has had the opportunity to present a paper at a university conference-American Studies Association of Texas. Dr. Ezeh has also been a university keynote speaker on Spirituality and Counseling. He is eclectic in approach. These include the utilization of person-centered, choice therapy, existential psychology frameworks, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy, among others.
