Sometimes the effects of life are less noticeable but unhealthy all the same. Maybe you grab too many cookies from the cookie jar or toss and turn in your sleep all night? Life consumes many people and it can result in bad moods, risky behavior, poor diet, unrestful sleep and lack of exercise. The way I see it is, this does not help matters and makes it even more difficult to enjoy life! With my guidance, education and support, you can grow away from these life styles and take charge again!

With extensive training in mindfulness and dialectical behavioral therapy, I can assist you in this journey! My role is to listen to you and assist you in making changes with a kind and understanding approach.

More Info About My Practice

Adjoining the individual therapy, I also teach a skill based mindfulness group and eating disorder recovery skills group. Most importantly, you will get the support and guidance you deserve!

My Role as a Therapist

It is my understanding that you are the expert on your life, thoughts, and feelings. My role as a therapist is that of a guide. I provide a non-judgmental, unbiased perspective on your struggles. I can help you navigate life by discovering new things about yourself that lead to a better understanding of yourself in the world. The journey we will walk together can help you to see the world a little more optimistically and equip you with a few tools to help you make better decisions along the way.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

Most people sit on the fence for a little while before making the leap into a therapist's office. This is understandable! It takes a lot of courage to walk into a stranger's office, tell them you life story (which you may have never told anyone before) and then ask for their help. I make sure to recognize this when we first meet and it is my goal to take the pressure off of you. I do this by providing a free 30 minute consultation with no strings attached and an empathetic ear. If your about to jump into therapy, I have a comfy couch to catch you!
