Fees: My standard fee of $120 is in the same range as other therapists with similar experience in the San Jose area. I reserve a set of reduced-rate time slots for clients with financial hardships. Therapy can be a powerful tool for collaboratively navigating through life's challenges, finding clarity of thought, and alleviating distress. Amazing opportunities for emotional healing and personal growth can emerge when a therapist is your affirming, validating, and candid advocate. Therapy can help with transitioning from pain, isolation, fear, confusion, and/or anger to relief, connection, trust, determination, and release. Therapy is sometimes focused on acknowledging the impact of past events, identifying automatic reactions that are problematic, considering alternative (more productive) responses, and intentionally living in new ways that are more likely to bring healing, purpose, meaning, success, and fulfillment. At other times, therapy may simply assist with finding and using available resources to effectively resolve problems. I hope that you'll contact me and share what's prompting you to seek therapy. I'd be happy to describe my therapeutic approach in further detail and answer any questions that you may have.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I'm experienced at assisting clients with managing anxiety about the future (e.g., achieving academic/career objectives, improving romantic/family/friend relationships, etc.). I'm skilled at helping clients find relief from feelings of sadness, loneliness, and confusion (e.g., resolving challenges in a romantic relationship, grieving the death of someone/loss of something, being a survivor of trauma/abuse, etc.).
