Today's a new day!

Whether you're dealing with personal concerns, feeling strains in your romantic or family relationships, worried about your teenage son or daughter, or dealing with military life challenges, I want to commend you on taking this courageous first step towards creating a better tomorrow for yourself and loved ones.

I believe counseling can be a powerful resource for anyone. It is used for both, personal healing or repairing relational connections AND for self-improvement or relationship enrichment. So whatever your situation, I am here to help.

As an LMFT-Associate, I also have specialized training to be able to help couples and families just like yours. Perhaps you are feeling unsure about where your relationship is headed or whether or not you can rekindle a seemingly lost connection. Maybe you're feeling stuck and aren't sure what the best course of action is to take.

Yet, even if your bond has been shattered by events, such as infidelity, military deployment difficulties, etc., it IS POSSIBLE to reconnect and rebuild if both partners are motivated and willing to commit the time and energy it takes to heal their relationship. I strive to help couples remember the fun times and what brought them together, as well as teach valuable tools to help them communicate better and succeed as a happier, stronger team.

So, If you're ready to make a change today, feel free to give me a call or visit my website for more information about my services.

More Info About My Practice

"At Neuhart New Hope Counseling, my mission is to help clients recognize and access their own resilience and strengths, while respecting their individual and family's unique qualities and needs. I want to help guide you towards a better tomorrow, with a renewed sense of self, healthier lifestyle, and improved relationships." Resilience. Strength. Respect. Renewal.

Therapy Sessions are by appointment only, which can be made by phone or by visiting my website. You may also check out our FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) section to find answers to common questions about therapy/counseling.

I feel strongly that anyone can benefit from therapy, and as such should have access to it. Therefore, my fee is $100 per 50-minute session, regardless if I am working with an individual, couple, or family. In addition, I devote a small portion of my practice to providing reduced-fee services for those who cannot afford my regular rate. To protect your privacy, I do not take insurance. However, I can provide a receipt for you if you wish to seek reimbursement from your provider.

Still wondering about therapy? I also offer FREE phone consultations to anyone considering my therapy services at no obligation to you. I know therapy is mainly about finding the right fit and someone you feel comfortable with, so I'm more than happy to help and discuss any concerns you may be feeling about the process prior to our first meeting.

My Role as a Therapist

I view my role as a therapist as a guide, serving to help you move in the direction you choose. Life is filled with ups and downs and we all react to things differently. Therefore, I strive to make the therapy process a very personal, collaborative, safe, and uplifting space for you to express your thoughts and feelings openly, overcome challenges, and discover new solutions for you and your loved ones.

As an LMFT-Associate, (MS Marriage and Family Therapy, BA Psychology) I am specially trained to look at issues through a systemic lens, viewing them both in terms of the individual and within the context of relationship and family patterns. Through my training, I was fortunate to be exposed to a variety of clinical approaches, and as such, tend to be integrative in the theories I use. I feel this practice is the best way to allow me to tailor my therapy services specifically to YOU.

At my core, I often use Solution-Focused Brief Therapies. This means, I want to help you set attainable goals and enable you to make lasting, positive changes. Rather than simply dwelling on the problem and remaining stuck there, I strive to emphasize and help you to access your own strengths and resources, both as an individual and couple/family, giving you the tools to enable you to create unique, lasting solutions for yourself.

This process is all about you, and I would be honored to walk beside you every step of the way.
