I work specifically with women to help them navigate life's challenges. It's easy to feel stuck, but you don't have to go through this alone. You deserve a therapist who will be your advocate and work with you every step of the way as you pursue the things most meaningful to you.
The type of therapy I do is active and purposeful. I believe that my clients know more than I will ever know about their own lives and it's not my job to "change" them. Instead, I work side by side with my clients to help them understand their value and worth while making meaningful steps toward the changes they would like to see in their lives.

More Info About My Practice
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I am specially trained to understand the relationships in your life and how they impact your individual struggles. While many other therapy professions and licenses provide worthwhile services, Marriage and Family Therapists are the only professionals specifically trained to work within the context of relationships and families. When you come to my office either individually or as a couple, you can rest assured that hundreds of hours of training have gone into the work we will do together.
Reaching out and beginning therapy can feel scary and vulnerable, but you are stronger than you may realize. Take the next step and let me help you begin working towards a better, more meaningful life.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I am certified in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. This therapy method is evidence based and is proven to be effective in working with a variety of issues, including Anxiety, Depression, and Self-Esteem.
How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
I battled with anxiety and depression as a teenager and well into young adulthood. At one point, I became so bogged down in my struggle with these issues that I could no longer function the way I wanted to. Even though I was very nervous, I decided to try therapy (something I had never tried before). I didn't know if it would help, but I thought it was worth a shot (because anything had to be better than what I was feeling back then). After finding a therapist that was a good fit for me, I learned why therapy is such an amazing tool. I learned more about myself and how to work with my personal issues. Going through that process and learning that I didn't have to struggle anymore helped me realize that I wanted to be a therapist. I knew that I wanted to help other people feel what I felt and pursue the meaningful parts of their lives without being held back by their own struggles.
