My Approach to Helping

Sex and Money, What's the Problem, Honey? In helping people get along better, I hear stories that amaze me, inspire me and frustrate me. This is a fascinating field in that I am privileged to be present with you on a journey that can include the full range of emotions: Fear, Sadness, Anger, Anxiety, Depression etc.You will want a therapist who has clinical skills forged by education and therapy as well as personal experience to be able to relate to your problem or issue. I am a man who has suffered through a mid-life crisis or whatever you call it when everything is turned upside down. Over the span of a weekend in 1999, I chose to get a divorce, leave my corporate job and quit drinking. Three big life changes that all happened simultaneously and rocked my world. Having made it through that life transition successfully makes me want to help others who are stuck or struggling with change. I became a counselor as a result of this experience and I want to use those professional skills as well as my personal learnings to help you. Because when there is true connection, the sex and money issues are successfully resolved.

It is gratifying to help people grieving from loss, particularly those impacted by suicide.

Helping you get along better and really enjoy life.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist

In choosing a therapist, I feel that chemistry is important. When we have a sense that our work will help you get better, we can begin your journey of healing and growth. I am privileged to be present with you and am curious about everything in the picture. That curiosity and interest to learn helps me connect with you and helps us accomplish your goals

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Therapy is a proven way to get better and I do not believe that asking for help is a sign of weakness. Rather, I see it as a smart move when certain things in your life are not working.
While suffering is a vital part of life, you are not alone in this. Please consider talking to someone if it is not me.
