My Approach to Helping
I offer a combination of compassionate gentle listening and reflective questioning. My goal is to help you gain insight, clarity, greater peace, and more productive living.

With a doctorate degree from Washington University in St Louis, I have spent my professional life studying the nuances of human nature, relationships and communication. I understand the significance of personal suffering: how it intervenes in our lives and blocks our growth. I also understand ways that suffering can dissipate.

In our sessions, I will help you to identify strengths you already have that can effectively move you forward. In fact, I believe that you are already on this path. Your core identity is intact. Our work will be to clarify the problems as you see them, and begin to listen to what your deeply good, authentic self is trying to tell you.

More Info About My Practice
As I build my private practice, I have decided to offer my services for a reduced fee of $90 per 50 minute session. I also offer a sliding scale based on need (although currently you would be placed on a waiting list until one of those spaces opens up). You can come each week or every other week; you determine the best pace for you.

Payment is due at the time of service. After each session, I will give you a receipt which you can submit to your insurance company. Typically, once you meet your deductible, you will get whole or substantial reimbursement for treatment.
