My Approach to Helping

Psychotherapy is a journey of the heart, which leads to deep and lasting healing as well as, enhancing the quality of our lives. As a committed partner on this sacred journey, I bring with me the the maps and tools of my professional trainingand and personal experience. I strive to create therapeutic relationships which encourage transformation through enhanced awareness of self and other. To deepen therapy, I offer a variety of experiential methods such as; somatic experiencieg, interactive guider imagery, hypnosis, focusing, and mindfulness meditation. I believe that by grounding therapy in the body and experience we achieve a deeper and more lasting healing that relieves many of the psychiological symptoms that often accompany unresolved issure. In addition to my formal training in counseling psychology, I have over 20 years of professional experience. I have pursure post-graduate training in; Somatic Experiencing, Hypnosis, Focusing, Transpersonal Psychology, EMDR, Developmental Needs Meetings, Stratergies and, Dialectical Behavioral Training
