My Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is open-minded, collaborative, and centered on creating a safe, judgment-free space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves. I work with children, teens, and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), depression, grief, self-esteem concerns, school and social issues, and life transitions. I believe each person is the expert in their own life, and I strive to help clients discover the tools, strengths, and support they need to grow, heal, and feel more confident in themselves.

My Role as a Therapist

As a therapist, my role is to provide a supportive and empowering space where clients feel heard, understood, and encouraged throughout their journey. I use evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused techniques to help clients build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and navigate challenges in healthier ways. I also value strong communication and collaboration with parents and families to help children and teens feel supported both inside and outside of therapy.
