My Approach to Helping
Trust and a sense of safety are paramount for successful therapy. My goal is to provide this since therapy can be one of the most important decisions one can make. Those who do participate in therapy find that it can be the impetus for improvement in every area of life. For many, therapy can help bring about a greater sense of freedom and creativity, allowing a richer, more fulfilling life. I discreetly work with many individuals and couples with high public profiles in private settings in areas that include anxiety, self-esteem/confidence, depression, attachment wounds, trauma, and relationship distress.

Interweaving family systems with a psychodynamic approach, I will explore with you the patterns that may have contributed to the emotional pain and repeated patterns of difficult relationships. I specifically work with attachment wounds from traumatic or difficult childhood experiences.

In addition to working with adults who have emotional wounds, I work with parents of adopted children who present very difficult behaviors. Although my office offers privacy, I also see those with high public profiles in more discreet settings who have concerns regarding publicity.

More Info About My Practice
My fee is $110 per session. Although I do not accept insurance, I will gladly provide a statement/indication of paid invoice for you to provide to your insurance group.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

A major area that I work with clients on centers on attachment wounds. Many adults find that experiences of their childhood haunt them and they can be inhibited by the hurt, thoughts, and feelings still as adults. We can work through these at a pace comfortable for you. Further, I work with parents of children who suffer from attachment wounds, such as those who have been adopted. In my therapy office, I do not seek out someone to blame for the client's emotional pain. Instead, we work together to get you to a better place that can mean more inner peace, greater joy, improved relationships, increased creativity, and better over-all functioning.
