My Approach to Helping
I enjoy helping people who are ready to create a more satisfying life. My first priority is to provide a welcoming and safe environment for you to explore the issues that are causing you distress. Then we will collaborate to develop new perspectives and to broaden your choices, discover possible blind spots, and assemble skills and strengths that you can use long after therapy has concluded.

With expertise in several models, I can offer therapy that is designed specifically for you. Options include talk therapy, skill development (such as DBT, Mindfulness, self-hypnosis), art therapy, or hypnosis for specific issues such as smoking, pain, or functional GI disorders.

More Info About My Practice
I'm in-network for all BCBS plans and Medcost. Many other insurance providers reimburse for part of my fee, which is $90.

I offer a 15 minute phone consultation at no charge to help you decide if we might be a good fit. I also encourage you to visit my website. I look forward to hearing from you.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist

Choosing a therapist is such a personal decision, it's a good idea to use the initial phone call and first sessions to determine if it's a 'good fit.' Do you feel heard and understood? Does the therapist seem to have experience with similar problems? Do you feel comfortable and safe with this person? It's no insult to the therapist if you decide it's not working for you. The most important thing is to find the right fit for you.
