My Approach to Helping
I believe healing happens through genuine, compassionate interactions with others, a deeper understanding and empathy for oneself, and examination of harmful patterns of thought and behavior. Healing and growth come out of an honest and genuine connection in a safe environment. When these things are present, you are able to explore more deeply the things that hold you back from living the life you want.

I use an eclectic approach, however, my work is informed by the emotionally focused therapy (EFT) and family systems schools of thought. I believe strongly that listening more carefully to our emotions and intuition gives us important informatiom. In therapy, we will work to tap into those sources of information more fully.

More Info About My Practice
My full fee is $80 per 50-minute session. I offer a sliding scale for those whom cost is prohibitive. I do not accept insurance at this time. I do offer a free initial consultation. Please feel free to ask me more about the sliding scale or free consultation.
