About Our Center

Sandstone Care Colorado Detox is a 12-bed medical detox center offering mountain views, spacious outdoor surroundings, and a home-like environment. We employ a highly credentialed team of doctors, nurses, psychologists, and licensed therapists. With six hours of clinical groups per day and two individual therapy sessions per week, our program’s primary focus is creating a safe and stable environment in which clients can focus on overcoming their specific challenges. Detox is not an easy process, but feel secure knowing you have a caring team of professionals by your side. Sandstone care focuses on treating the whole person, so we address co-occurring mental health disorders and trauma in addition to addiction. To achieve this, we use evidence-based therapies including, group and individual sessions to treat clients struggling with substance addictions and co-occurring disorders. At Sandstone Care, we understand that clients going through detox prefer to know what is coming. Instead of the feeling stress of the unknown, we provide structure to our clients. •The mornings are for clinical treatment and to attend to withdrawal symptoms •Afternoons are for “letting it out,” and this tends to be the group sessions and working on self-esteem and relationships. •Evenings are for dinner time, relaxing, and reflection. During a client's stay for the detoxification process, they have a private room and bathroom, delicious meals provided, an outdoor patio with a gorgeous view of the Rocky Mountains, and much more.
