More Info

Optimum Performance Institute (OPI) helps young adults ages 17-28 transition to independence. With supervised apartments, therapy, and life skills support, we guide those struggling with anxiety, depression, or "failure to launch" toward self-confidence and success, so they can thrive on their own.

About Our Center

Customized Treatment: The OPI environment is safe, happy, and experiential. Our program is individualized for each participant to match his or her personal goals, interests, and developmental needs. Each participant works with the OPI departments of education, career, volunteer, and extracurricular services to create a customized treatment plan. OPI emphasizes family work to establish a bridge of communication and foster greater understanding, tolerance, and empathy towards one another. Participants have the opportunity to continue treatment through our intensive outpatient services. Turning hopelessness into happiness OPI's comprehensive program addresses the many complicated issues holding young adults back from reaching their potential. Participants become part of a supportive peer group that helps one another confront temptations and distractions on the journey to health and independence. OPI is located in Woodland Hills, California, just 45 minutes northeast of Los Angeles. Our location allows us to offer myriad education, career, and service opportunities for our participants. They can attend one of many colleges and universities, earn a high school diploma/GED, or attend one of Los Angeles' music, fashion, acting, culinary, auto mechanics, or beauty schools. Many participants receive special tutoring and study skills training to ensure understanding and progress. If a participant prefers to begin a career, there are ample and various work opportunities in the area. Every interest an OPI participant has can be explored with the goal of building success in his or her life. We are private pay. Private insurance coverage is usually limited or unavailable. We do not accept Medicare, Medi-Cal, or SSI.
