My Approach to Helping
Ginger Stegall is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LMHC) with over 35 years of experience. She focuses on treating clients of all ages who are suffering from developmental disorders, trauma, PTSD, anger issues, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, PTSD, bipolar disorder, chronic stress, illness, family issues, children's behavioral issues, women's issues, couple's difficulties, and more. Ginger graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville Florida where she earned Bachelor's, Master's, and Specialist's degrees. Ginger's unique contribution to the field of therapy includes her own various life challenges (food insecurity, homelessness, instability, lack of safety, and lack of predictability, along with certain types of abuse) that have come together with her education to offer empathy to her clients. Ginger utilizes a developmental trauma-informed focus in sessions and likes to help people examine their learned beliefs and behaviors to help them make healthy changes that improve their overall mental health. It takes great courage to ask for help when you need it and Ginger is uniquely qualified to understand and help you feel supported in your search for change or feeling better. Ginger likes to help her clients learn to look at their challenges in terms of what they learn from them and help empower them to use what they have learned to go on the path of self-actualization. She looks forward to partnering together with you to offer personalized care that addresses your needs and concerns with compassion.
