What's My Approach to Therapy?
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted—even though you “seem fine” on the outside?
I help adults break free from anxiety, trauma patterns, and burnout using trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy.
I work with adults who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in survival mode, or worn down from carrying too much for too long. Many of my clients are high-functioning professionals or caregivers who struggle with anxiety, stress, trauma, or feeling disconnected from themselves.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and empowering. I use trauma-informed CBT and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients feel more grounded, regulate emotions, and build healthier coping skills—without judgment or pressure.
I combine trauma-informed care with practical coping tools to help clients feel grounded and empowered—not overwhelmed. I work especially well with high-functioning adults who feel anxious, burned out, or emotionally stuck, and I prioritize emotional safety, pacing, and real-life application of skills.
Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to have it all together. We move at your pace and focus on practical tools you can actually use in daily life.
Many of my clients appear high functioning but often feel overwhelmed and guilty about prioritizing their own needs. They believe they must manage everything alone, leading to emotional fatigue from over-giving. They also struggle with self-criticism and perfectionism, feel disconnected, and are unsure how to slow down.
In therapy, we develop stress-management and emotional-regulation skills to promote calmness and groundedness. I address the effects of stress and trauma on the nervous system, emphasize setting healthy boundaries, and work on reconnecting with personal needs and values while building sustainable coping strategies for daily life.
If you’re ready to feel like yourself again, I would be honored to accompany you on that journey.
