My Approach to Helping

At times, when life seems overwhelming or when we feel "stuck," unable to move beyond what occurred in the past, it is often beneficial to seek help. Staying attuned to your struggles, I offer a safe and supportive environment for you to explore and resolve the deep-rooted issues that are causing you pain. As you process unresolved issues that have been keeping you stuck, and make sense of your experiences, you will be empowered to make the positive changes necessary for a more satisfying life. As you feel understood and seen, you will be able to incorporate self-compassion and self-care within you and to achieve broader and different perspectives. You don't have to struggle alone. A more fulfilling life is within reach and it is my privilege to be present and alongside your journey of personal growth and healing.

More Info About My Practice

I employ techniques from EMDR and emotion-focused therapies that aid in the surprisingly quick resolution of long-standing issues by guiding you in self-healing via your processing of unresolved memories and emotions that are keeping you stuck.

Since finding the right therapist match is very important, I offer a 20-minute initial consultation at no charge, for you to explore the possibility of working with me. I am not on any insurance plan, but I can be seen as an out-of-network provider. I offer a sliding scale and discounted fees for those who would otherwise be unable to afford therapy. You may call me or send me an email to schedule your complimentary initial consultation, and I will get back to you, usually with 24 hours. I hope you find the help you are looking for!
