My Approach to Helping
The stress of being a woman in today’s society is significantly overlooked. We’re expected to excel in school, have full-time careers, raise a family, keep the house clean and the pantry stocked, make homecooked meals, keep up with society’s ever-changing standard of “beauty,” exercise and eat healthy, maintain a close group of friends, and have strong relationships with our partners. We do all this while battling intrusive thoughts of perfectionism, low-self worth, poor body image, and never-ending guilt. I provide virtual therapy to individuals in both Iowa and Wisconsin. My goal for therapy is to provide women with a safe and confidential space to talk about hard things, reduce stress, heal from trauma, and discover inner strength. My hope is to make you feel heard, accepted and understood. I want to walk along side you as you begin to love yourself again.
