My Approach to Helping
Teresa's professional goal is to serve as a resource and point of intervention in the facilitation of healthy self-efficacy, healthy self-concept and healthy relationships. She is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive place to explore concerns and gain the tools necessary in pursuit of the very best Self. It is Teresa's belief that through increased self-awareness, people are empowered to change, and empowered people are positioned to take responsibility for their own lives, emerging with greater clarity, purpose, and happiness.
Teresa received her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Seattle University. Teresa provides therapeutic services in the areas of emotional dysregulation, depression, griefloss, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, relationship issues and parent coaching.
Teresa is an approved clinical supervisor in the state of Washington, providing supervision hours for new therapists seeking full licensure. Teresa is a Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician (DBT-LBC) and an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Clinician.
