My Approach to Helping
When you struggle with abuse, trauma or anger, life can be difficult to navigate. This is true for children, adolescents, and their families. Speaking your truth is difficult when your first language is play, or you find it difficult to share your thoughts because of abuse, trauma, grief or depression. Children and adolescents struggle with a myriad of concerns in our technologically-driven age, whereby, their first impressions stem from influences seen on television, social media, and experiences from within their home or school environments. Moreover, adjusting to life-changing events is hard for children and adolescents who need to feel supported on their journey through life. I believe that "a person is a person, no matter how small" --Dr. Seuss.
