My Approach to Helping
I believe the reasons that bring you to seek therapy can provide an opportunity for growth and change for the better. In my practice I create an environment where my clients feel respected and heard. My collaborative and open orientation is toward healing and personal growth. It is based on the belief that we are capable of change, and finding new adaptive ways of overcoming our challenges and getting unstuck. I look forward to meeting with you and to constructing a treatment plan that meets your specific individual needs.
I will work with you to help enhance your coping skills, improve functioning, creativity and vitality, as well as gain relief from symptoms and stress. I provide a nonjudgmental space in which there is possibility and freedom to be curious about yourself, gain new understanding and increase your capacities to explore and address your feelings, as well as develop strategies for self-care. I believe that therapy can be useful and effective. I also believe that some feelings and life situations are too difficult to bear alone. I love the work I do and would feel honored to be part of your journey towards self-discovery and healing.
More Info About My Practice
My fees are $150 for an individual session and $160 for a couple session. I am a Blue Cross Blue Shields Provider for both HMO and PPO, and a Tufts Health Plan Provider for both HMO and PPO. I also see people who self-pay or have an out-of-network insurance option; this includes most PPO plans such as UBH, Tufts, and Aetna PPO plans. I have a limited number of sliding scale slots available. Please contact me for more information, and I would be happy to discuss payment and insurance options.
*If you have not heard back from me within three business days, my practice is currently full. You are welcome to try and inquire again in a few weeks as an appointment time may open up by then.
