My Approach to Helping

Asking for help is frequently very difficult. I and the team of therapists at Personal Evolution Psychotherapy can help. We provide comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to people who need help with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, communication issues, relationship issues and other emotional issues. We specialize in working with the LGBQ community and are specifically trained and competent to provide Gender Therapy to people who identify as transgender. We also provide therapy to people who are attempting to make their lives less complex, easier, or less chaotic. We provide therapy to people who think outside the box.

More Info About My Practice

We at Personal Evolution Psychotherapy (PEP) believe that therapy should be as affordable as possible, and as easy to obtain as possible. So we return calls promptly and take most insurance PPO's. We are on a limited number of insurance panels also (HMO's.) We also provide financial hardship fees if applicable. Please call our office for more information.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

DBT is a type of therapy unlike most others. It's designed to actually help and provide step by step assistance with actual tangible coping skills that can be used almost immediately. It's an evidence based practice and has research to back it up. People who hated therapy in the past like and benefit from DBT. It's not just talk therapy.
