My Approach to Helping
We all struggle with difficult feelings at one point or another in our lives - depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship problems. I believe developing a trusting relationship with a caring counselor enables the exploration of difficult emotions, increases self-awareness and facilitates personal growth to overcome life challenges.
I believe every situation is unique. Therefore, I do not utilize a "one size fits all approach." Rather, a collaborative and integrative approach to therapy, tailored to meet personal needs and empowering individuals by incorporating their strengths. I also believe in a holistic approach to mental health that encompasses physical, mental, emotional, social, financial, and spiritual health in order to achieve psychological wellness.
I am experienced in a variety of clinical issues ranging from anxiety and depression to bipolar disorder. I enjoy working with all age groups and feel privileged to guide clients on their journey to wellness.
