My Approach to Helping
Relationships are rarely without issue despite loving one another. We become confused about how relating became so difficult! Concerns become overwhelming resulting in deep hurt, uncertainty and distancing. In fact 80% of divorce is the result of emotional disconnect, and only 40% is due to high conflict. Neither have to happen. It is possible to have better, healthier, loving relationships! I work with you to help you both understand and use tools for your disconnects, strengths, triggers, and communication breakdowns. Relating is a learned process. We can learn to turn toward, not against or away from one another and enjoy again!
In individual therapy I empathically address anxiety, stress, burnout, grief, and depression. When we struggle we need to be heard and understood. We also want to discover what we can do if we want to change an area in our life. Sometimes we may even feel broken. I will help you heal and move forward in this process. Life can be fuller and peaceful.
