What's My Approach to Therapy?
With 25 years of experience in the field of psychology, I understand that the process of therapy is a journey of self-discovery and liberation that leads to problem solving and an overall sense of success. I believe that my role as a psychologist is to support my clients in understanding the best qualities of themselves and to create more effective life strategies that produce beneficial results. In each therapy session, I am committed to helping my clients gain insight, clarity, and the tools they need to achieve positive and desirable life experiences. As an advocate of positive psychology, I believe it is just as important to build the best things in life as it is to conquer the most challenging. I help my clients to focus and move forward in a professional and caring way. I am approachable, compassionate, and honest.
My practice caters to individual adults and specializes in, but is not limited to, the areas of stress management, anxiety, worry and fear, depression, loneliness, relationships, self-esteem, conflict resolution, communication and intimacy, workplace issues, work-life balance, burnout, change and transition, grief, family challenges, substance use, and addiction.
