My Approach to Helping

Congratulations! The fact you are looking at therapists, means you have already begun your journey to healing.

I enjoy working with families of children with special abilities to help navigate the world with your child and their needs. I support women who may be experiencing postpartum anxiety and depression or who are having difficulty adjusting to the experience of motherhood.

I value trusting relationships, so from day 1, I am looking to create a safe, affirming, supportive and open space for clients to feel, express and vent. My goal is to connect with you so I can fully understand what is going on in your world. No one has the same experiences or feelings as you, so I tailor my work to support YOU and your needs. The negative feelings you may be experiencing do not last forever, so the sooner you begin, the sooner you can start meeting your goals and seeing that change! I encourage you to take the first step into a better tomorrow.

More Info About My Practice

It is my belief therapy is a necessity of life. Everyone needs someone to talk to, someone to vent to, someone to guide them. I believe in individualizing each session and meeting the client where they are. I believe true healing comes from an understanding of yourself and the WHY. This can only happen when a client feels safe enough to be their true self, reflecting on their needs, wants and goals. I believe in empowering clients!

My practice is different from others because I believe in connection and safety. I know sessions can start with laughter and end with crying. I will be your partner through it all. My therapeutic relationship resembles that of a tough-love best friend since I truly care for your wellbeing and will want to push you to do the hard work, which you may not always like!

I am a neurodivergence advocate, LGBTQ+ ally, and believe wholeheartedly in social justice.
