My Approach to Helping
Dealing with life, the everyday “stuff,” and emotions can be tough. Don’t be so hard on yourself—healing is a process. I see therapy as a joint venture where our knowledge and skills are combined to create solutions. In my practice, I bring kindness, humor, and authenticity with the purpose of creating a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to experience freedom. When it comes to treatment, no one size fits all. Because all my clients come from diverse backgrounds with various presenting problems, every therapeutic alliance is unique. For this reason, I tailor therapy to fit your needs, meet your goals, all while utilizing your strengths at the same time.
As a bilingual (Spanish and English) licensed therapist, I have had the opportunity to work with diverse populations and diagnoses. Some of the most common include trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and adjustment issues.
