More Info About My Practice
My desire to become a therapist began when I was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes at the age of 10 and was faced with learning how to cope with this significant change in my life. This experience allowed me to learn coping skills and strategies to overcome struggles that we experience in life and provided me with a passion to provide that same knowledge to others.
I have worked with a diverse population of children and families focusing treatment on challenges of depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and chronic illness. As a Therapist I like to make my clients feel supported and comfortable to work on anything needed in an efficient manner. With this, I also provide Telehealth services for ease of access to treatment.
My Role as a Therapist
As a Therapist, I view myself as a partner in helping my clients grow with their natural strengths. I believe that we all have the strength to overcome the road bumps we encounter in life and may use a little guidance and support from others every now and then. That's what my role as a Therapist would be, that extra support and guidance to help overcome whatever struggles that may be faced.
It is a strong belief of mine that we all deserve happiness and to have a complete fulfilling life. Whatever that looks like for you, It is my goal to assist clients individually, as a couple, or as a family to achieve their desired goals and ideal happiness.
