My Approach to Helping
My approach to therapy is to seek to understand the point of view of the people I am working with and to work with them to improve their lives in the ways that they believe is important. Helping people to feel understood and improve their ability to cope and manage their lives is rewarding and fulfilling.
How Psychotherapy Can Help
It is helpful to have additional perspectives on your life situation. It is difficult to recover from long term challenges or recent tragedies without additional information that can come from a skilled experienced therapist.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
Asking for help and accepting it is a tremendous expression of courage, confidence and a desire for a happier life. Additional knowledge and experience can be very helpful as we all walk through life and work to cope with all that comes our way, grow and change.
