What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

My first experience with counseling was in high school. I witnessed one of my peers sitting under a tree, crying. My heart went out to her and I signed up to become a Peer Counselor at my high school the very next day. Since then, I have continued the journey of listening to others and providing an empathic environment where my clients feel comfortable sharing and being their true selves. Providing therapy doesn't feel like work. I look forward to my sessions, getting to know my clients and providing the necessary tools needed for your growth and sustainability. People come to therapy for a number of reasons, and all are valid. Allow me to be your support. While I have been trained with over 10 years of expertise, helping others have been my passion for most of my lifetime.
