What's My Approach to Therapy?

My specialty is helping female survivors of trauma reverse the symptoms of rejection, guilt, and shame through talk therapy and healthy coping techniques.

I provide a holistic, integrative approach to assist clients with developing autonomy and learning to have power over their own decisions and life choices. Clients are encouraged to identify, process, and learn healthy changes to their patterns of thought, manage emotions, develop healthy self-awareness, self-value, self-acceptance, self-forgiveness, and self-love. Clients have the opportunity to learn and implement healthy coping techniques to help manage symptoms of mental, emotional, verbal, physical, and sexual trauma.

My Practice & Services

I offer In-person and virtual therapy. Therapy sessions are 50-minutes.

What I Usually Need to Know to Help

I will provide a 15-minute free consultation. The consultation is to understand your goals for therapy and if I am the right person to help you achieve those goals. The consultation consists of you sharing your therapeutic goals, asking questions, and sharing your concerns about the therapy process. This will help us to determine what you need to help you achieve your goals and my ability to meet those needs. Therapy is a collaboration between therapist and client and needs the client's willingness to be diligent and patient in the process.. We work together to help you find a healthy balance to your presenting problems. Sometimes this process takes time and may be difficult depending on the individual need of each client.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

A good therapeutic relationship provides trust and safety and is crucial to the client's ability to heal from traumatic experiences. I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients are encouraged to embrace openness to change, transparency, and honesty with themselves and others. My treatment process is eclectic and personalized for each client. I am ready to work collaboratively with you and challenge you to pursue and achieve the changes you need to become your best self! I invite you to schedule a consultation to see if my style of therapy is right for you!
