My Approach to Helping

Are you struggling with challenges in your life? You are not alone! You can expect compassionate, nonjudgmental, professional attention based on proven therapeutic care. Adults, couples, teens, and children of all ages are welcome! I see people for a variety of concerns, including, but not limited to, mood problems, anger issues, marital challenges, parenting, grief, trauma, and abuse. I will work with you toward your personal goals in therapy. My services combine the best in time-tested help with belief in your potential for healing, faith in the human spirit, and deep respect for you. Click to call for an appointment. Evening hours available.

With 25+ years of experience, I offer care for couples, individuals, teens, and children for depression, anxiety, relationship problems, trauma, and more. The central idea of my service is the inherent power within you to heal and change. I utilize a variety of helpful therapies, including emotional support, cognitive therapy, play therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

I am interested in how life experiences shape our thinking, our actions, and our reactions. Conscious and unconscious thoughts and behaviors affect our relationships with ourselves and with others. Biochemistry also plays a role in how we think and feel. I help people sort through these things and move toward healing.
