What's My Approach to Therapy?
I use both behavioral and cognitive strategies that are backed by solid research and delivered with warmth and empathy. Along with anxiety, I treat a range of issues. These include OCD, phobias, ADHD, feeding challenges (in young children), and elimination disorders. I always aim to address the concerns you’re facing right now.
Families often discover healthier, more positive ways to interact and support each other through my active and compassionate approach. Over the years, I’ve led social skills groups for school-aged children and middle schoolers, and I’m certified in the UCLA PEERS® program. I’m also trained in SPACE® (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), an innovative, family-focused program for managing child anxiety. This past year, I trained in ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy®). ART is an evidence-based method that offers rapid relief from the effects of trauma, grief, and other struggles. I have received specialized training in pediatric psychology.
In addition to being a licensed psychologist in Texas, I have an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT). This allows me to offer telehealth services in many other PSYPACT® participating states.
I personally manage every aspect of my practice, responding to phone calls and emails in a timely manner. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’m here to support you with warmth, expertise, and compassion!
