My Approach to Helping
Creating the life you want can be challenging when you don’t have the support you need. Most people come up against situations that are too difficult to handle alone. Sometimes anxiety and sadness can become obstacles to a fulfilling life. Talking with someone who gets you can often help. I help clients focus on their goals and determine what they need to do to achieve them in a safe and supportive environment. I believe in a co-creation between the therapist and client. I will be by your side as we uncover the strength you have to heal and support you in moving in new directions.
My approach is mindbody based. I have a deep respect for the wisdom of the body; and I promote body awareness during sessions. In addition to person-centered talk therapy clients have the optional opportunity to incorporate expressive art therapy techniques and action methods to support growth and change at a deeper level.
