My Approach to Helping
You deserve a smart, focused approach to your life's issues, whether they are due to your relationship, or something personal like insomnia, depression, or anxiety.
Whether you are a student, adult, or couple, it's important to work with someone who you're comfortable with. I became a therapist to help people get research-based help to make their lives better -- especially those suffering from insomnia and anxiety, but I welcome all people interested in life improvement. I wanted to provide a therapy experience that feels like talking to someone you've known a long time -- and can help you sort through your problems.
My practice is filled with families, students, and adults who want a goal-oriented approach to sessions, as well as dedicated time to learn about who they are. While I love working with young people, anyone is welcome to contact me to see if it might be a fit to come in for a session. I write as a Topic Expert for GoodTherapy and work with students nearby at UC Berkeley, my alma mater. I look forward to hearing from you!
