My Approach to Therapy
Do you feel stifled by anxiety, depression or overwhelm? Are you trying to navigate relationships and decisions about your life? Are you facing grief, loss and change? Were your concerns present before, but exacerbated due to recent events? My practice is here for you in this time of unprecedented uncertainty. I support people in navigating these types of challenges and coming into greater clarity, connection, self assuredness, ease and peace about where you are now and where you want to go.
I offer therapy especially attuned to those seeking a deeper, more reflective, and comprehensive therapeutic process—not just symptom relief, but a more meaningful understanding of what is underneath. Therapy can be more than just a band-aid. It can be a path forward that supports you in living a life that is more in alignment with your wants, needs, and values.
Additionally, I offer specialized grief therapy for those experiencing grief and loss, including a recent death, chronic illness, a diagnosis such as cancer or multiple sclerosis (MS), and for those who are caregiving or have a loved one with a serious illness or injury, including Alzheimer's disease or dementia. The feelings, logistics, and emotional weight of these experiences are unique and deserve particular care.
My approach is warm, person-centered, compassionate, and holistic; incorporating mind, body, spirit as well as considering community and cultural contexts to help clients engage in authentic and deep work. Working with me is collaborative and tailored to your unique interests and needs. I offer a variety of approaches including EMDR, IFS, Somatic, Mindfulness based & JungianDepth.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. I bring over 15 years of experience working with individuals going through these kinds of challenges. I offer a deep, grounded, relational, and compassionate presence. Regardless of what is bringing you here, I would be honored to support you on your journey.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
Over the years, I've worked with a range of ages from children to elders. I find that each stage of life comes with a unique set of challenges and gifts. I am awed and humbled by the range of our human experience. I feel passionate about supporting people to learn the mental health and relational tools and skills that many of us weren't taught in school, home or in society. We got PE (physical education) but why not "Mental Health Education?"
"Psychotherapy" literally means "to care for the soul." I believe that having good mental health and wellness is not only a human right, but is innate to all of us. It's my mission to support my clients to discover the wonder of who they are (already!). I believe that in bringing consciousness and intentionality to the important moments in our lives we can create a life that is profound, beautiful, deep, connected and meaningful. Helping people to recognize, reflect on, integrate, heal and celebrate these moments is what I do.
