My Approach to Therapy
I offer therapy especially attuned to those seeking a deeper, more reflective, and comprehensive therapeutic processnot just symptom relief, but a more meaningful understanding of what is underneath. Therapy can be more than just a band-aid. It can be a path forward that holistically supports you in living a life that is more in alignment with your wants, needs, and values.
I will help you to create a place where you can slow down and understand what youre carrying in a welcoming, warm, reflective, non-judgmental environment. Through this process, there is often more room for choice, soulful connection, and meaningful change. Over time, this work can support a greater sense of steadiness, self-trust, confidence, and more authentic ways of relating to yourself, others, and the world.
If you are experiencing anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, a breakup, imposter syndrome, low self-esteem, or healing from childhood trauma, including narcissistic abuse in childhood or adulthood, this work may help you break free from these burdens. Together, we will explore the emotional, relational, and learned patterns that shape your experience with compassion.
If you are navigating life stage transitions, like moving in with a partner, becoming a parent, looking toward retirement or the empty nest stage, recently graduating, changing careers, or moving, I have special expertise in supporting folks through these significant life changes. If you are getting married, then either individual or couples therapy or pre-marital counseling can be especially supportive in helping you move through these changes with more ease and intention.
Additionally, I offer specialized grief therapy for those experiencing grief and loss, chronic illness, a diagnosis such as cancer or multiple sclerosis (MS), and for those who have a loved one with or who are caring for someone with Alzheimers disease or dementia. The feelings, logistics, and emotional weight of these experiences are unique and deserve particular care.
You dont have to navigate this alone. I bring over 15 years of experience working with individuals going through these kinds of challenges. I offer a deep, grounded, compassionate presence. Regardless of what is bringing you here, I would be honored to support you in finding your way to more joy and light.
Whether youre interested in short-term or longer-term therapy, we will find the crux of your intention through skillful listening and the modalities I offer. We will create a therapeutic space where you can get support.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
Over the years, I've worked with a range of ages from children to elders. I find that each stage of life comes with a unique set of challenges and gifts. I am awed and humbled by the range of our human experience. I feel passionate about supporting people to learn the mental health and relational tools and skills that many of us weren't taught in school, home or in society. We got PE (physical education) but why not "Mental Health Education?"
"Psychotherapy" literally means "to care for the soul." I believe that having good mental health and wellness is not only a human right, but is innate to all of us. It's my mission to support my clients to discover the wonder of who they are (already!). I believe that in bringing consciousness and intentionality to the important moments in our lives we can create a life that is profound, beautiful, deep, connected and meaningful. Helping people to recognize, reflect on, integrate, heal and celebrate these moments is what I do.
