My Approach to Helping
Linda Marie Lann is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner in psychiatry who works with clients children and adults, ranging from 4 years of age to 65.Linda utilizes evidence-based practices when working with all her clients and treats each with empathy. She takes the necessary time to get to know each of them so she can personalize treatment to their needs. After receiving her Master's of Science in Nursing, she began to work with the Community Action Team Program in Monroe County servicing children and adolescents that are at high risk due to mental health issues. Her prior 30 years of nursing experience have assisted her in understanding the challenges that our youth and families face. These challenges in obtaining access to care encouraged Linda to pursue a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner certificate so she could provide services where youth do not miss school time. Linda has assisted children and adolescents in working relationships with their peers and caregivers to successfully accomplish goals. The challenges that face youth today can not be compared. "Support and understanding is the key to our success!" says Linda.
