My Approach to Helping

My therapeutic approach is strength based, and positive. My vision of healing is to instill confidence, resiliency, and hope through out all the areas of life. I utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) in mood disorders, trauma, relationships, dating coaching, peak performance, and positive psychology.

More Info About My Practice

I am described by others as warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I have a curiosity for others, and am open to learning. It is common to laugh, cry, and leave my office with wonderment, and new insight.

Groups I Work With

I specialize in working with individuals who have experience anxiety, depression, complicated grief and loss, complex early childhood, adult, and relationship trauma. I utilize a relational approach with EMDR. EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a healing modality that allows the brain to reprocess memories old memories, emotions and beliefs that continue to impact and inform our present life. As we reprocess maladaptive emotions and beliefs about ourselves and others we begin to update and formulate new adaptive patterns of being. A relational approach to EMDR creates a more integrated, clear sense of self that allows for greater adaptability, resiliency and a life that flows with more grace.
