My Approach to Helping
I work from a client-centered approach incorporating techniques from multiple therapeutic modalities. I strive to provide a comfortable, open, non-judgmental, and safe environment by meeting you where you are at. Your therapeutic relationship with me begins from day one, building trust from the first time you enter the telehealth session. I believe that therapy is a collaborative approach between the client and the clinician that will take hard work, consistency, and dedication. It’s easier said than done, but I believe you owe it to yourself to put the work in and grow. I use self-compassion and mindfulness to help when life feels unmanageable.
I have over six years of clinical counseling experience and have worked in the mental health field since 2006 in various settings while completing my education. I have been in private practice seeing individuals virtually on telehealth since 2020.
It takes a lot of courage to start counseling (the first session alone is a huge accomplishment), so be proud of yourself.
