My Approach to Helping

⋒ Next Day Appointments ⋒
Hi, therapy can feel so intimidating, I hope you feel like you're just meeting a regular person with me. I help adults who grew up thinking they did not matter, were abused, abandoned or raised with violence or religious based fears. Such environments often forms deep truths we believe about ourselves and it impacts our overall mental health. When thinking of the past we can get stuck in vicious cycles, difficulty remembering large parts of childhood, feeling disconnected from ourselves, and we never really feel safe. Scary beliefs can start to form - will I ever be able to be vulnerable? Am I loved?

Using a trauma informed lens we take a deep into your history and use mental health focused validated assessments to track progress so you always know the purpose of our shared space and the length of time we plan on spending in that space. As a Certified Brainspotting therapist we can use brain stimulation during emotional activation for deep processing.

In my experience as a clinician, once we begin working together we form a deeper understanding and kindness toward ourselves and most importantly have long term mental relief. I look forward to the opportunity to get to know you in a free consultation.

More Info About My Practice

As a Certified Brainspotting clinician, this modern and evidence based approach to trauma treatment allows us in session to use precise visual brain stimulation during emotional activation not just talk therapy. Using Brainspotting the parts of the brain that hold trauma can be targeted and allow us to deeply process creating rapid results in symptom reduction that produce long-term change.

My Therapy Focus

Pothos Health is a psychotherapy company that believes traumatic experiences are stored in our mental and physical bodies impacting our overall health. We use modern approaches to evidence based trauma therapy, psychedelics, and technology to connect with our parasympathetic nervous system creating lasting results for our patients.
