My Approach to Helping
Jeri Landgraf is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas with over 15 years of experience working with all ages, preschoolers through senior adults. She has worked with students in the areas of academic and behavior issues, and with all age groups struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, anger management, relationship issues, grief, and life transitions. Jeri genuinely loves meeting and building relationships with everyone and is a devoted ally and advocate for her clients. She believes we all learn from each other and relishes the opportunity to gain insights and knowledge from all clients. Jeri received her Master's degree in Counseling from Tarleton State University, and hercounseling style is personal and collaborative. She draws from multiple therapeutic approaches and customizes them to each client’s unique needs. She believes since we’re all one of a kind, one size doesn’t fit all when it comes to counseling. Her sessions are as unique as her clients themselves. Jeri draws from are solutions-focused, cognitive behavioral (CBT), choice theory, strengths-based, and person-centered approaches. Jeri is passionate about cultivating an environment where clients feel safe and accepted and may then explore areas of conflict, ultimately leading to emotional and mental healing. She helps her clients realize and build on their strengths in order to achieve the meaningful life they deserve.
