My Approach to Helping
I am an attentive, empathetic listener with innate curiosity about the infinite range of lived human experience. Trained in existential therapy, I seek to invite people into deeper relationships with themselves, with others in their lives, and with their environments. I approach therapy holistically, working to align mind, body, and spirit, and exploring themes such as personal agency, interconnectedness, and meaningpurpose. What role do these themes play in your life?
Depending on client needs and goals, I also draw on techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other traditions. I hold an MA in Psychology from Seattle University, and am licensed as an LMHCA in Washington State.
