My Approach to Helping
I became a therapist because: I originally wanted to better understand how the mind works. This moved into wanting to become more educated in the mental health areas those around me struggled with, so I could better support them. This knowledge grew into a greater desire to learn techniques to treat individuals that coped with PTSD, ED, Anxiety, and Mood Disorders, so they could no longer feel trapped by their mental health and have a sense of hope and independence.
Something to know about my approach is: I use CBT, DBT, Schema Therapy along with Art and Music to gain self-awareness, accountability, and a plat form for long-term change.
Together, we will: Find your WHY? and methods to effectively get there.
I specialize in working with people who: Adults that experienced childhoodadolescent trauma, and those that have been stuck in unhealthy patterns.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is: Therapists are given the opportunity to treat based on their individual strengths and provides a safe environment for the LGBTQ+ community.
