My Approach to Therapy

Is your head space so consumed with negative thoughts and excessive worrying that you find you can no longer experience joy like you once used to? Are you easily fatigued and worried about losing those closest to you? Are you a people pleaser and overly concerned with what others think of you? Are you constantly accommodating to the needs of others while sacrificing your own needs and well-being? Are you having difficulties making decisions and longing for clarity? If so, you arent alone in facing these struggles and I am here to help you. Together we will discuss goals and create a plan that will provide relief and improve wellness. I will work with you on specific strategies that will empower you to face and conquer your difficult situations. I will help you to get your joy back and restore order in your life. As a result of the therapeutic journey, you will gain self-awareness and will understand yourself better in ways no one has ever taught you.

My Practice & Services

Confidentiality is my highest ethical priority. I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment conducive for inner healing. I listen, provide feedback, and together we create a plan to help you attain the personal growth you are striving for. I am available most evenings, except Tuesdays, and have open availability for Saturday mornings.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I can help with presenting issues associated with anxiety and depression. If you are indecisive, I can help you with making decisions. If you are boggled down with excessive worrying, I can help you release the shackles and come to a place of freedom. If asserting healthy boundaries is a struggle for you, I can help with this. If you are feeling distant from your partner or spouse, I can help you both reconnect. If you and your spouse have unhealthy fighting patterns, I can help you both replace them with effective communication.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I have always loved listening and learning about the lives of others around me. I understand that you are in a vulnerable place the first time you meet me, yet, you are willing and open to sharing your current circumstances and entrusting me to help you with your journey. Encouraging, empowering, and inspiring you to grow and heal is a true privilege for me. It is an honor to work with you and watch you overcome challenges and establish healthier boundaries.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

We are human and none of us are perfect. At some point, the stress and circumstances can become so overwhelming that we reach a breaking point. You are not broken, weak, or flawed for reaching out for help. In fact, I recognize and appreciate the strength and courage it takes to acknowledge there is a problem and show up to my office ready to talk about it. If you are sick, you would reach out to a doctor. If you are not feeling well emotionally, it is ok to reach out to a therapist.
