My Approach to Helping
I’ve been working as a therapist for several years, following a strong foundation in social work. My most formative experiences came through roles with the Department of Child Safety, crisis intervention with the Phoenix Fire Department, and working in an inpatient psychiatric center for adolescents. These positions deepened my understanding of trauma and opened my eyes to the critical need for accessible, compassionate mental health care.
At Grow with Grace Counseling, my passion is helping others navigate the journey of healing, growth, and self-compassion. I specialize in childhood trauma and frequently support clients experiencing anxiety, PTSD, depression, ADHD, conduct challenges, and adjustment-related concerns.
I believe healing is never one-size-fits-all. Every individual brings their own story, strengths, and struggles—and therapy should honor that. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your past, make sense of your emotions, and move toward meaningful change.
Together, we’ll focus on increasing self-awareness, developing healthy coping strategies, and building the confidence to live more fully. When desired, I also integrate faith-based perspectives to support spiritual as well as emotional healing.
You don’t have to have all the answers to begin therapy. You just need a willingness to take the next step—and I’m here to walk alongside you.
