My Approach to Helping
Taking the first step to reach out for help is not easy. I understand and respect that! As your counselor, I will strive to create a safe, compassionate and empowering space for you to heal, grow and become the happiest and healthiest version of yourself. I utilize the therapeutic combination of DBT, CBT and IFS modalities which utilize mindfulness, awareness of one’s parts and implementing positive thinking patterns. These are all important steps towards healing.
I work with adults above age 24. I offer individual and couple sessions. My specialty areas include anxiety, trauma, depression, relationships, self esteem and couples counseling. I tailor my approach towards each client’s individual needs. Most importantly I believe in creating a safe space for the client to heal and find their own inner strength.
Each person has their own internal therapist. Together we will find yours and discover what you need to help yourself heal, cope, and become the healthiest and best version of yourself.
