My Approach to Helping
My practice focuses on therapy for adults and couples. We all experience difficult periods in our lives that may need help. Please know that there is a safe place where you can go and feel free to be yourself, where you will be heard, and your thoughts and feelings do matter. I am offering you a comforting, warm, and inviting environment where you can feel connected to another person, get away from harsh criticisms and where no one will judge you. I am bi-lingual in Spanish and English. If you are going through a difficult period, I am here for you. My job is not to give you advice or tell you what to do. Rather, you and I will work together, in collaboration to address life issues and personal goals. I have experience working with adults who suffer from mental health issues, are experiencing loss, and past trauma.
I am a clinical trauma specialist and have had training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other evidenced-based therapies. You can be confident that the treatments chosen will meet your goals and will be uniquely matched to who you are and what you need.
